Matthew Shaw is General Counsel of eOriginal, the leading platform for creating, managing, and monetizing trusted digital loans.
An attorney with deep technology, corporate governance, and commercial experience, Matt has led legal functions of publicly traded companies and their subsidiaries. In past roles, he has helped his teams develop and support new lines of business, increase efficiency and approach risk in innovative ways. His approach to law is focused on collaboration and determining novel and practical ways of handling the challenges of expanding a company.
Matt has over 15 years’ experience counseling clients on a variety of corporate, commercial and technology matters. Before joining eOriginal, he served as Deputy General Counsel at InterDigital, Inc., a research and development organization focused on mobile technology. In this role Matt was responsible for all transactional legal matters including software licensing, securities and M&A. Prior to InterDigital, he served as Associate General Counsel at TheStreet, Inc. and Senior Director of Technology Policy at Time Warner Cable, Inc.
Matt earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Rochester.
