Working with Assistant Director of Marketing Allison Isett, Shepherd will focus on enhancing the eOriginal brand and supporting sales in the growing market for digital transaction management. As a pioneer in electronic signatures and electronic records, eOriginal has earned a reputation as leading experts in the post-execution management of financial asset documentation, ensuring that every transaction is verifiably secure, legally compliant and enforceable under the company’s high criteria of eCertainty™.
Prior to joining eOriginal, Shepherd served as communications manager for AVF Consulting, a Towson, Md.-based Microsoft Enterprise Resource Planning partner, specializing in financial management software implementation, customization and support. Before AVF, he managed communications for the Kuali Student Project, an open source, next-generation student information enterprise software system being developed by the University of Maryland, College Park and other higher education institutions.
“In the information age, prospects and customers expect to be able to do more and more research as part the decision-making process,” Shepherd said. “It is our responsibility to provide the information they need and want to make an educated decision and prepare the inevitable adoption of digital processes.”
Shepherd has a B.A. in Journalism from Buffalo State College in New York, and a Master’s in Management with a Marketing specialization from the University of Maryland University College.
