Our October employee spotlight features Dave DiGioia, Project Manager. Dave has been with eOriginal for five years and a key aspect of his job here is to help customers realize the transition of their business to a digital workflow.

Q: What is your motto or personal mantra?

Dave: So many to choose from . . .

Be the hammer, not the nail.

Unless you’re the lead dog, the scenery never changes.

If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem.

Q: If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to see cast as you?

Dave: Bruce Willis (from his ‘Moonlighting’ days)

Q: If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Dave: My mother’s eggplant parmigiana

Q: If you were stuck on an island what three things would you bring?

Dave:

#1 short wave radio

#2 batteries for the radio

#3 cooler full of cold beer while I wait

Q: If you were to write a book about yourself, what would you name it?

Dave: “The one with the most stories wins”

Q: What are three career lessons you’ve learned thus far?

Dave: Since what our customers solution is a culmination of handoffs from within our company, it’s important to take ownership of what you receive and what you output. For me, I focus on two mantras: 1) The quality of anything can always be improved; and 2) You’re never wrong to do the right thing.
