How it Works

SmartSign helps you manage your Document Oriented Transactions (DOTs) by automating the closing process. The application enables you to quickly and easily send documents out for signature from your SalesForce account. SmartSign captures the electronic signature(s), digitally secures it to the contract, and creates a tamper evident seal around the entire document.

SmartSign keeps you up to date on the progress of your deals, and enables users to dynamically retrieve copies of their signed documents. Users can view up to date status of all outstanding contracts, or retrieve a detailed history report of all signature activities right within SalesForce. SmartSign supports initiating the signature process from any Account or Opportunity.

Mobile eSignature Capture

SmartSign simplifies and streamlines signing within any mobile browser, by automatically detecting that a signer is on a mobile device. SmartSign optimizes the signing experience through a unique user interface specifically designed for smart phones and other mobile devices (e.g. iPhone, iPad, Android and Blackberry).

Automated Notifications

SmartSign may be configured to automatically send notification emails to senders or distribution groups of all signing activities. Notifications are available for user authentication, consent, withdrawal, signature completion, and transaction completion.

Document Distribution

Participants receive electronic copies of all documents in the transaction via email or download.
