SmartSign’s flexibility enables organizations to choose from a variety of electronic signing methods, including hardware signature pads, text, customized images or multimedia (i.e. voice, biometric).
The SmartSign Signature Service requires no integration to backend systems, so you can be up and running quickly. SmartSign is integrated with eOriginal’s eCore document repository to meet the most stringent security and auditing requirements.
SmartSign Signature Service enables you to...
- Provide internal and external users with the ability to electronically sign and authenticate standard PDF documents.
- Implement multi–layer authentication into the signature process, email, Security Code, OFAC or exam (KBA).
- eSign Contracts, Licenses, NDAs, Agreements, Applications, Loans, Health Care, Government, Insurance – any type of form requiring a signature.
- Turn PDF “print” files into “Signature Enabled” PDF files without changes to your legacy systems or additional software development.
- Control the location and appearance of signatures within the PDF documents. Define the font, size and dimension of signature areas on the X____. Unlike other signing approaches, SmartSign does not apply a signature “stamp” in a default location on a document.
- Capture user input during signature session for inserting additional form data into PDF text fields, such as signer’s title, order number, acceptance date, etc.
- Protect the integrity of the executable PDF files throughout the entire signature process using server–based signing. PDFs don’t leave the secure environment.
- Implement detailed auditing including ESIGN consent opt–in / opt–out tracking and document version tracking.
